Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec posted a huge financial loss of 8.55 billion Canadian dollars for the 2002 year. Caisse's chief executive, Henri-Paul Rousseau, promised never to overexpose the company to the media and telecom sectors again.

$3-million fine to fund education

Stock losses hit CPP board results

The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP) posted 4.1 billion Canadian dollars in losses in equity and in real estate portfolios for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2003. The poor performance of global equity markets hurt the CPP.
