Cartaway release called misleading

Article Abstract:

Cartaway Resources Corp.'s two senior officers and First Marathon Securities Ltd.'s former official have been accused by Alberta securities regulators of misleading the public on May 16, 1998, about a false news release on a nickel discovery. The news release reportedly caused a runup in Cartaway's share price. However, drilling results released the day after indicated little promise for a mineral find on the property near the Voisey's Bay in Labrador causing a decline in Cartaway's share price to $C2.76 from C$26 on the Alberta Stock Exchange.
