DNA profiling of criminals is required by law in all 50 states in America, and some law enforcement officials are trying to add all arrestees to the DNA databases. Privacy and civil liberties advocates say expanding DNA databases will allow sensitive personal information to be misused. More than 60 prisoners have been cleared of suspicion by DNA testing.
