Unity of a sort

Article Abstract:

Ethnic relations in Inner Mongolia are better than in many regions of China with large minorities. There are some 4 million Mongolians from a total population of 23 million inhabitants. Internarriage between Mongolians and Han Chinese is common, and it is rare for inter-ethnic violence to occur. The economy is started to develop, and, as well as natural gas and petroleum discoveries, there are hopes for tourism and agriculture as motors of growth. Critics argue that the pastoral life of Mongolians has been affected by Chinese rule, as has Mongolian culture.

Europe's vision

Article Abstract:

Europe is considerably experienced in the field of recycling. The European approach makes industries responsible for the amount of waste generated by their goods. Much of the success behind this approach lies in the fact that industries can better manage the waste that they produce. Industry is in a better position to understand market demands for recycled products. This system works well for Europe but how well it can be adapted to the US is yet to be seen.
