ISP chiefs plan their next moves

Internet firms fight Nasdaq's kiss of death - delisting

Article Abstract:

Fourteen Internet companies, the former beneficiaries of initial public offerings not too long ago, are facing the possibility of being delisted from the Nasdaq as of Jun 2000. A delisting could spell the death of these Internet-based companies which have been hovering under $2 per share for some time now. A company will be delisted from the Nasdaq for trading under $1 for 30 consecutive days. These stocks are transferred to the Nasdaq Bulletin Board where a rebound will be even more unlikely.
