Legal move could slow Sun Life suit settlement

Article Abstract:

Sun Life Assurance Co. of Canada's C$65-million settlement of a class-action lawsuit filed against the company for alleged vanishing premiums, is likely to be delayed due to further legal challenge it faces. The settlement, which has already been approved by courts in British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, is being challenged by Jack McLean of Ontario, saying he will ask the Supreme Court of Canada to turn down the settlement. Lower courts have ruled McLean has no legal standing on the settlement, which involves approximately 400,000 Sun Life clients, because he was not a representative plaintiff in the class-action lawsuit.

Are new claims coming forward or is this a closed issue for anyone still owning such a policy and is still victim to this issue?

In other words if someone still wants to sue who should they contact and what is the procedure?
