Article Abstract:

The prison system in California is reported to be worse than thought earlier, due to overcrowding of prisons and the failure of drug abuse treatment programs offered. Although reduced sentences and rehabilitation programs for prisoners are suggested, prison-system veterans argue that a more rehabilitation-oriented approach is not feasible.

The terrorist attacks that took place on the 11th September 2001 in America forced the government to make the national ID issue an anti-terrorism tool. This was done by increasing the national security in the country after several decades and was found good for combating illegal immigration, increase in the public safety.
