New rules in Korea

Article Abstract:

The Clinton administartion in 1994 signed the "Agreed Framework" with North Korea on nuclear cooperation. The agreement required the US to make large payments for oil for Pyongyand without consulting Congress. This has resulted in more threats from North Korea against South Korea, which was pushed aside in negotiations, the blocking of international inspections of suspected nuclear weapons facilities, and large sums of money for food without conditions.

Time to end the Korean War

Article Abstract:

More than 50 years since the end of the Korean War, the US still directly commands South Korean troops, and only the US can resolve the state of war. A history of US-Korea policy shows that only withdrawal of US troops from South Korea will allow the US to be an honest broker of peace.
