Industry analysts said that online music downloads is cutting into royalties due to musicians and record companies. Dr. Download, a university professor who obtains free music on the Internet, is portrayed as a typical online user that is being targeted by record companies intent on protecting their music copyrights.

UCC paid off student who alleged abuse
