Product development can fill prescription for success

Article Abstract:

Medtronic CEO Bill George believes that the business leaders of the 21st century are those that know their business and are actively involved in them. He adds that products should be continually refined for growth to continue and condemns the cost-cutting mentality for stunting growth. George says there are also enormous risks associated when a company grows too fast. Quality may suffer while control over financial systems and costs may be lost.
