Prospective study of quality of life of patients receiving treatment for prostate cancer

Article Abstract:

An analysis was carried out to describe differences in quality of life (QOL) before and after three types of treatment for prostate cancer and investigations were made into demographic, physical, and psychological variables that impact QOL of patients. Significant differences were found in QOL as measured with the functional assessment of cancer treatment, prostate after treatment with radical prostatectomy, seed implantation and high dose rate radiotherapy.

Understanding and measuring patients' assessment of the quality of health care

Article Abstract:

A study was carried out to ascertain the quality of health care and the value of nursing from a patients view, and results varied depending upon the level of dependency the patient experienced on hospitalization.
