Recruiting the next generation spies

Article Abstract:

The Central Intelligence Agency is trying to change its employee profile by recruiting more language experts, scientists management students and economists. Before the end of the Cold War the CIA concentrated mainly on the communist bloc countries, but in the post-Cold War scenario it has to carry out surveillance on many more countries. Moreover, the agency is trying to ensure that its agent merge with the local population and are not restricted to embassy jobs. The Agency is trying to recruit college students and develop a talent pool to meet these challenges.

New England's crisis

Article Abstract:

New England fishing industry's stocks are being used up rapidly. Fishermen must, therefore, curtail their greed to allow replenishment of stocks. The New England Management Council has taken over stock distribution planning to supervise the fishing industry methodically. Efforts are also being made to utilize previously underutilized varieties of fish.
