Users of the Internet can access over 450,000 pornographic images and text files. However, explicit material is a very small part of the Internet, and the process of finding the material is complicated. Several countries are trying to enact anti-pornography laws, but enforcement is difficult.

Former exotic dancer Katherine Goldberg established the Assn for Burlesque Entertainers to convince officials to ban lap dancing in nightclubs in Ontario. Goldberg objects to lap dancing, which involves physical contact between customers and dancers.
