Samson Oil and Gas' share prices fell by 0.5cents to 30cents after it announced in June 2005 an extension to its exploration acreage and increasing its potential in the Rocky Mountains state of Wyoming. In May 2005, the company generated $5m cash through a share placement at 35cents each and was bidding for control of its 10%-owned American affiliate Kestrel Energy Inc.
