The company is now facing investigation by United States Securities and Exchange Commission regarding its accounting practice and disclosures. New York based Cerberus Capital Management LP is considering acquisition of Royal Group.

De Zen Cuts deal, gives up control of Royal Group

Ontario based buildings products company, Royal Group Technologies Ltd's founder Vic De Zen is giving up control of the company due to allegations over spinning money through inappropriate transactions. The company is also planning to go for a major reorganization also plans to have a new chief executive officer.
