Selling the music: for beleaguered orchestras, marketing is key

Most Canadian orchestras are having trouble financially because of public and private funding cuts, and 11 out of 13 major orchestras have budget deficits. However, some orchestras are turning to aggressive marketing techniques to help increase their subscriber base.
