Sorry for Lies, Rowland Asks For Forgiveness

Article Abstract:

Connecticut Gov. John G. Rowland appeared on TV and delivered a speech to his state's constituents to ask for forgiveness after he allowed those who had been awarded state contracts to do free work for him on his Litchfield cottage. Ten days later he admitted his lie and has been dealing with demands during the past month for his resignation.
