Would a 'paper trail' eliminate vote-counting fraud?
Article Abstract:
The drive for paper backup has followed a nationwide switch to electronic voting machines as computer scientists, activists and some politicians have found flaw in the direct recording electronic (DRE) machines. The majority of states that utilize DRE voting machines are using the voter-verified paper audit trails (VVPATs) or paper ballots in order to eliminate vote-counting fraud.
