The possibilities, pros and cons over the replacement of Fidelity Capital Appreciation are analyzed. The shift of managers from Harry Lange to J. Fergus Shiel has raised the question as Lange had followed an unusual pattern as he was an expert at the movement of technology stocks and was brilliant at negotiating while Shiel is a wide-ranging investor who is known to mix value and growth stocks and trade frequently.
