The hospital could not save Jack Smith's life, but the hospice program gave him something to live for. The hospice program at Philadelphia's Fox Chase Cancer Center has a care team that focuses on maximizing the cancer patients' comfort and make sure that all problems, such as pain, nausea, sleeplessness, despair and family grief are well addressed.

Various forms of loans which lead victims unknowingly into a cycle of debt are discussed. These include overdraft protection service offered by banks, and high-interest predatory lending schemes such as payday lending and auto-title loans offered by private lending firms.

Most of the Americans suffering from chronic diseases are often being denied the prescription-drug relief they need because the doctors are afraid to prescribe them. The reasons behind doctors not prescribing the best medicines to their patients are discussed.
