It is believed that first choice complete a switch from one fund to another in one business day while in some cases a switch takes two weeks.

The future of online broking is becoming easier for the investors because of the introduction of new facilities that allow them to set stop-loss positions for their stocks. Online brokers E*Trade and CommSec have introduced these new facilities whereby investors can determine a price at which their shares will be sold.

Greg Tanzer, the executive director in charge of consumer protection at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission believes that ignorance is the biggest contributor to investors falling prey to the shysters and dodgy scheme operators in the investment world. Methods to overcome this are presented.
