Article Abstract:

The car decoration product and services market was worth 382.5 million pounds sterling between 1991 and 1995. It is expected to grow another 4% in 1996. Various factors affect the market, including car ownership levels, weather and the ages of cars currently on the road. In 1996 there were approximately 25 million cars of which over 56% were more than six years old. Older cars require more attention which boosts the market.

Robert K. Carlson's book 'Truth on Trial: Education Be Hanged' focused on the Integrated Humanities Program at the University of Kansas. The program was established by three critics of the academic orthodoxy with the aim of creating a community of students and teachers, and a college within a state university. In addition, the book examined the virtues of the program, including the experiences of the students.

A Note on the One Against Many Battle

Article Abstract:

A battle model where one unit faces many hostile units is considered. A published procedure optimizing the order in which the hostile units are attacked sometimes gives nonoptimal orders. Additional conditions to extremal orders can give optimal orders.
