Another Perspective: the right standards for standards

Article Abstract:

The state legislature made it mandatory that the California Energy Commission adopt new standards for products sold in the state after the California energy crisis in 200. But the new efficiency standards need to be technically feasible, economically justified, good for the consumer and good for the country.
