Empirical testing of a risk-adjusted Hotelling model

Article Abstract:

The Generalized Method of Moments establishes the applicability of the risk-adjusted Hotelling model used to determine the optimal depletion of a finite resource. This particular model manipulates the standard delta by lambda over lambda equals rho equation to integrate initial, risk-free stocks, the homogenous capital-consumption good and the exhaustible supply in a two-period competitive economy. However, used in industry-level extraction costs, the results are imperfect and problem-laden. These problems are mainly due to inadequate data and other inherent limitations of the model used.

Standard business procedures

Article Abstract:

The objectives of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) should be fully supported by the electric power industry to assure that the industry's interests are well-represented in the international market. ANSI's declining membership should be staved off because it is crucial for the industry as a whole to participate in the international standards developing process. Active participation is one way of coordinating the industry's responses and making its voice heard in the global economy.
