Estimating the benefits of efficient water pricing in France

Article Abstract:

An econometric model on water supply and demand on the usage of water in the Bordeaux area was done to evaluate the pricing of French water. It was observed that there was a considerable difference in the marginal cost and marginal pricing, however moving towards efficient prices may not result in direct welfare effects.
