Article Abstract:

Two works promoting environmental human rights are analyzed and questions are raised about the feasibility of the different interpretations of environmental human rights. The implications of adopting the language of human rights for environmental justice should be thoroughly examined, since the problems that come with the human rights paradigm may serve to undermine the gains obtained.
