Compelling evidence

Article Abstract:

A view is presented on British courts considering evidence, which might be obtained through torture in foreign countries. The decision to be taken by the House of Lords can have some affect on the people who are suspected of having links with terrorism.

The initial reason for the invasion of Iraq was the search for weapons of mass destruction. But as evidence remains elusive, Washington and London increasingly point to the overthrow of Saddam Hussein's brutal government to justify the invasion.
