E-government to combat corruption: the case of Seoul Metropolitan Government

Article Abstract:

The Online Procedures ENhancement for the civil applications (OPEN) system uses web technology to transact civil application cases online in order to tackle the corruption between the applicant and the city officials. A case study of the system that is followed by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to tackle the corruption is examined.

Developing business education infrastructure in Eastern Europe: Albanian experience

The higher education development in Albania at the University of Nebraska in the field of business education and subsequent infrastructure development is discussed. The infrastructure development initiatives like training faculty, entrepreneurs, government officials and developing business assistance centers are discussed in detail.
