Egotistical narcissism

Article Abstract:

China's intellectuals consciousness were dominated by despots and has a tradition of being monolithic, and this characteristic is tied up with the larger and smaller gradations of deification. They have always lacked an honest sense of awareness and the spirit of repentance, as they do not confess, they only implore god's blessings in the next world or material advantage in this world but do not lay bare the ugly evil in their hearts.

Morality as a substitute for institutions: The loyalty of fools

Article Abstract:

China's intellectuals consistently employ the ethics of kinship and family relationships to draw analogies to their personal relationship to the power of the totalitarian regime. The socialization and the politicization of this type of kinship resulted in China's intellectuals viewing morality as politics and moral probity as a form of political behavior.
