Interpretation of "interconnection" by the WTO Mexico - Telecommunications Panel: a critique

A discussion on the first General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) panel report, "Mexico Telecommunications" Case (DS204), with special reference to its interpretation of the meaning of the word "interconnection" in the Telecommunications Reference Paper, is presented.

The UNESCO convention on cultural diversity and WTO law: a case study in fragmentation of international law

The possibility of reconciling the UNESCO Convention on Cultural Diversity with World Trade Organization (WTO) agreements, through the use of existing techniques on the fragmentation of international law, is discussed.
