Strategic culture and American empire

Article Abstract:

The United States being considered as an imperial power because of its strategic culture that uses military force and not all liberal democratic empires being particularly peaceful is studied. The existence of autocratic states with much racial and ethnic diversity may explain America's imperialism and the longer life expectancy of its moral crusade but this also shows the cultural bias of the United States in the name of protecting strangers, its aversion to casualties and a pragmatic approach to circumventing legal restraints on the use of force.
