The assertive nationalism of South Korean youth: Cultural dynamism and political activism

Article Abstract:

The Korean youth brought up under a prosperous and democratized society and proud of their nationality, hold their nationalism in two facets, assertive nationalism to the world and particularly the United States on one hand, and inter-Korean nationalism with the North Korean people on the other. The political activism of this energetic genre is restricted, based on selective tasks and its immediate interests are cultural and practical.
