The ethical challenge of the twenty-first century

Article Abstract:

Western nation-states can be seen as the modern heirs and carriers of the foundational principles and values whose universal introduction is being hampered by those countries because of their focus on their own narrow interests. It is now time to restore meaning to history, using either an anthropological or a theological approach. The latter approach has convincing intellectual coherence and historiographical explanatory strength.
