The truth about whether Falun Gong has an organization

An article from the Duowei News Network's public forum discusses whether Falun Gong has an organization. The application by Falun Gong trainees to register as a national mass organization was denied by the Chinese government, and the idea of creating such an organization in China was abandoned at the end of 1997.

No organization is needed for practicing cultivation, nor is Falun Gong an organization

Article Abstract:

A veteran practitioner of Falun Gong states that Falun Gong is not an organization, as the Chinese government has suggested. Many people practice Falun Gong without relying on forms of organization. Open and direct contact with Falun Gong would help to resolve the issue.

A brief biography is given of Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Gong. Born on May 13, 1951, Li began to develop Falun Gong in 1984; the system was finalized in 1989, and he made his first public appearance in 1992.
