A survey of herbal and alternative medication use among participants with eating disorder symptoms

Article Abstract:

A survey was conducted to collect data on herbal use in participants with eating disorder symptoms, including the frequency and indications for herbal use, the economic impact of herbal use, specific product use, and others. Results reveal that herbal use is frequent among those with eating disorder symptoms, often resulting in substantial financial cost, and that health professionals are rarely the source of herbal information.

Nighttime eating: A descriptive study

Article Abstract:

The definition of night eating syndrome (NES) is found to be inconsistent across various studies and literatures. A study that aims to collect descriptive data on participants who were selected using broad inclusion criteria for nighttime eating concludes that NES is still an evolving concept that requires close collaboration between eating and sleep researchers.
