Becoming a first-rate professional psychologist despite graduate education

Article Abstract:

Training in psychology in sharp contrast to graduate school training nourishes students' creative instincts by bestowing them with avenues to perform creative work and research activities. However, teachers of psychology are mostly skeptic about teaching their wards the intricacies of psychology from professional literature. Students need to be self-taught in order to gain extensive knowledge of the discipline to help them achieve excellence in their future experimental or clinical practice.
