Coping strategies and attachment in pedophiles: implications for treatment

Article Abstract:

This article examines the use of coping strategies among pedophiles. Findings indicate that pedophiles rely on significantly more negative coping styles such as avoidance, distancing, and confrontation than either adult abuse victims or control subjects.
