Dietary variety impairs habituation in children

Article Abstract:

The hypotesis that dietary variety results in increased energy intake and reduces rate of habituation in children is tested. Findings reveal that participants in the variety groups had a lower habituation rate and consumed more energy compared to those in the same groups. The impacts of increasing variety of low energy density foods are also examined.
