Eating disorders examination versus eating disorders examination-questionnaire in adolescents with full and partial-syndrome bulimia nervosa and Anorexia Nervosa

Article Abstract:

The Eating Disorders Examination (EDE) and the Eating Disorders Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q) were compared in adolescents with eating disorders. The results reveal that adolescents with bulimia nervosa (BN), partial syndrome BN, and anorexia nervosa exhibited strong correspondence between the EDE interview and questionnaire formats.

Factors associated with suicidal behaviors in a large French sample of inpatients with eating disorders

Article Abstract:

A study analyzed whether patients with eating disorders had a higher risk of suicide attempts. Results confirmed that patients with bulimia nervosa had the highest risk of suicide attempts besides identifying other relevant factors and reasons.
