Human sex differences in sexual psychology and behavior

Article Abstract:

Darwinian theory implies that most sex differences are more likely to be found in reproduction and sexuality. Research indicates the greatest differences in sexual behavior include mate preferences, jealousy, magnitude of sexual motivation, interest in casual sex and partner variety, and fantasy.

Adaptive design, female mate preferences, and shifts across the menstrual cycle

Article Abstract:

Evolutionary psychologists have recently studied changes in women's sexuality and how the menstrual cycle affects women's perceptions of male attractiveness. Evidence suggests these changes act to obtain genetic benefits by mating with other men than primary partners.
