Low-level relationship aggression and couple therapy outcomes

Article Abstract:

A study to examine the efficacy of non-aggression-focused behavioral couple therapy for couples with and without a history of mild physical aggression is conducted. Results show that couples with a history of frequent psychological aggression and mild physical aggression begin treatment more distressed but differ in their couple therapy outcomes compared with couples with no history of such aggression.

Spousal agreement regarding relationship aggression on the conflict tactics scale-2

Article Abstract:

Two hundred and seventy three couples seeking treatment on aggression in their relationship was reported using the Conflict Tactics Scale-2 (CTS-2) and assessed for violence among couples. Results revealed both husbands and wives reported low level of aggression for themselves than their partners attributed to them, though this discrepancy was generally stronger for husbands.

Using multilevel methods to analyze couple and family treatment data: Basic and advanced issues

Article Abstract:

The multilevel models are described as a flexible analytic approach to couple and family longitudinal data. The basic properties of multilevel models are reviewed and the three important extensions, which include power and sample size, are also studied.
