Measurement equivalence and Differential Item Functioning in family psychology

Article Abstract:

Methods for dealing with several hypotheses in family psychology is developed through the framework of item response, which deals with the measurement inequivalence, called Differential Item Functioning (DIF). The results exemplified the range of outcomes that may result when these methods are applied to psychological measurement instrument.

The different components of cost analyses of health-related interventions, including marital and family treatments are discussed. The methods for calculating and integrating clinical and cost outcome information evaluating marital and family treatments are also described.
