Multidimensional Pain Inventory profile classifications and psychopathology

Article Abstract:

A comparative study of the primary classifications of 84 patients by Multidimensional Pain Inventory (MPI) and their psychopathology levels as ascertained by MMPI revealed that subjects diagnosed to be Dysfunctional or Interpersonally Distressed displayed greater psychopathology levels in comparison to the Adaptive Copers categorized by the MMPI scales. Dysfunctional or Interpersonally Distressed subjects were more likely to display immaturity by failing to effectively cope with their emotional states-of-mind.

Discrimination of cortical from subcortical dementias on the basis of memory and problem-solving tests

Article Abstract:

Usage of the Wisconsin Card Sorting and the Buschke Selective Reminding Tests proved versatile in accurately ascertaining the mental states of patients with Alzheimer's and Huntingdon's diseases.
