On the complexity of quantifying construct validity

Article Abstract:

The processes on validating measures, theories, and quantification of construct validity were studied. Despite real theoretical and methodological threats to validity, it produced positive results, while quantifying construct validity showed the complexity of construct validation process.

Increment validity principles in test construction

Article Abstract:

A series of principles are illustrated in order to enhance incremental validity during test development. These principles are further used to modify the three classic test approaches, which would provide theoretical clarification and improved prediction.

On construct validity: Issues of method and measurement

Article Abstract:

The concept of construct validity was studied using hypothetical, inferred entities, and validating measures involving basic theory testing. Results reveal improved ways to evaluate multitrait, multimethod designs, and increase clinical representatives.
