Quality of life and the structure of neurosis-like symptomatology in persons with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus

Article Abstract:

The quality of life (QOL) and the structure of neurosis-like symptomatology in persons suffering from insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) are examined. The studies suggest that there exists a relationship between the development of neurosis-like disorders in patients with IDDM and the deterioration of their QOL, thus indicating that neurosis-like symptoms could form an integral part of a poor QOL.
