Preschoolers' strategic behavior and performance on a same-different task

Article Abstract:

The study of preschoolers' strategic behavior reveals that the process of strategy development is fairly complex. There is much diversity across trials in strategy production and strategy utilization among children. The behavior of children, which is contrary to typical models of skill development, suggests that there are much to learn regarding the development of strategic behavior during early childhood.

Strategies of control, aggression, and morality in preschoolers: an evolutionary perspective

Article Abstract:

The ability to think morally, self-report moral emotions and solve social problems was examined in preschoolers in the light of developmental and evolutionary theories. It was observed that bistrategic controllers, although aggressive, were morally mature and preferred play partners by their peers.
