Superovulatory response to a low dose single-daily treatment of rhFSH dissolved in polyvinylpyrrolidone in Rhesus monkeys

Article Abstract:

The procedure for superovulation in the rhesus monkey is studied by using a specially designed polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) solution as a solvent for gonadotropins. Results reveal that a single-daily low dose of rhFSH dissolved in PVP solution could induce the satisfactory ovarian responses in rhesus monkeys.

Extinction deficits in male rhesus macaques with a history of self-injurious behavior

Article Abstract:

Self-injurious behavior (SIB) that occurs in both human and nonhuman primate populations is tested. Results noted that SIB might persist in monkeys because they lack the ability to regulate the intensity of their biting behavior.
