Five architects and on theater director participating in a discussion to unearth and assess various socio-cultural themes related to entertainment and design concur on the positive aspects of future technology. They differ on the several possible effects of entertainment and other related fields on society. Agreeing on several promising changes that globalization will bring, they express satisfaction over the dependence of technologies on their creators.

The Halo Effect: Is It a Unitary Concept?

Article Abstract:

The halo effect is defined as the tendency for a rater to give a ratee similar ratings on all aspects of performance. Two variables were examined in this study; a priori global evaluation and ratee status. Their influence on halo effect was investigated. Poor workers may vary in performance on different dimensions. Excellent employees were perceived as being excellent on all dimensions.
