The association between direct and relational bullying and behaviour problems among primary school children

Article Abstract:

This article examines the relationship between bullying and behavior disorders among elementary school students. Findings indicate that direct and relational bullies and their victims have higher incidences of behavior problems like hyperactivity, conduct disorder, problems relating to peers, and low social skills when compared to children unaffected by bullying.

The development and adjustment of 7-year old children adopted in infancy

Article Abstract:

This article examines the relationship between interracial adoption during infancy and the development of behavioral problems during childhood. Findings indicate that adopted children have a higher incidence of behavioral problems when compared to the general population and that adopted boys have more behavior-related difficulties than adopted girls.
