Article Abstract:

Stigmatization of child/adolescent conditions is related to the low status of children throughout history and continuing devaluation of mental disorders in relation to structural variables in various societies and cultures. Thus, stigmatization of child disorders and the blame of parenting practices as causally responsible for them are important considerations for child mental health.
